Duties and Responsibilities Run and monitor all distributed and mainframe production and test systems. Identify real time system, network, and application availability and performance issues and resolve or escalate as appropriate. Appropriately use systems management tools for monitoring, problem determination and resolution of system, network, and application problems. Shutdown, startup, and recovery of all test and production systems. Management of any problems and exceptions associated with shutdown or startup.
