This work is to provide production, physical SQL Server DBA support for commercial clients. Tasks include MS SQL installs, upgrades, backup and recovery of production databases, reorganization, performance monitoring and tuning of databases, maintain integrity and security of data, define and document procedures, problem determination and resolution, work with application development and client staff, provide 24 x 7 problem coverage rotated weekly among other team members. Weekend, offshift work may be required.
