Skills and Responsibilities Summary - Will be responsible for leading the technical activities involved with the development and support of OLTP and data warehouse systems running under UDB EE and UDB EE Partitioning Options on an AIX platform. This includes physical design activity of Tablespaces, Bufferpools and Security needs in various environments such as Development, System Test, Performance and Production. This also includes providing guidance and support for nearly 100 fast-paced developers working on tight schedule. -- Will be involved in performance testing of the OLTP application. Should be adept at performance testing approaches and performance related problem resolution for a n-tier application. Exposure to application related performance tools such as Introscope, JProbe etc will be highly regarded. - Experience with AIX Scripting to accomplsih database tasks will be required.
